Lucy Electric Thame was delighted to support the Thame Rotary initiative to give Ukrainian refugee families, who now live in Thame and the neighboring villages, a day out in Cotswold Wildlife park in August. A total of 50 Ukrainian people had a lovely day, they were all really excited, thoroughly enjoyed their experience and were extremely grateful for the opportunity to go for a day out. Some wore their country’s flag and others were wearing national costumes. The trip was enormously successful with a full bus of children and their mothers.
Along with other local companies, Lucy’s Electric Thames contribution allowed the Rotary to purchase the bus hire, entry into the park, refreshments on the bus and a £10 voucher per person to purchase lunch. John Singer who organised the activity on behalf of the rotary club said
On behalf of Rotary Phoenix in Thame I would like to thank you all for your support as without this it could not have happened
