We are thrilled to announce that Lucy Electric has won the Social Value category at the inaugural Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) Supplier Sustainability Awards!
SSEN created these awards to recognise projects aligned with their Sustainable Supplier Code, celebrating significant contributions to society, the economy, and the environment.
Lucy Electric earned the Social Value award for our impactful CSR programme, launched nearly a decade ago. Our sustainability framework, focusing on People, Planet, and Progress, has empowered our CSR champions to make a global difference. Some examples of our initiatives include: planting trees and hedges worldwide, restoring damaged coral reefs in Thailand, building school in India and supporting orphans in Thailand, Brazil, South Africa, and Malaysia.
Cristiana Padilla, Lucy Group Ltd CSR Manager, and Holly Taylor, Regional Sustainability Coordinator for Lucy Electric, were honored to accept the award from Shirley Robertson, Head of Strategic Planning and Sustainability, and James Flanagan, Director of Procurement at SSEN.
Congratulations to the team for winning the Social Value category!
