We are delighted to announce that Lucy Electric Thame have won the ‘local company of the year award’. This is given to companies who have been judged to have excelled in supporting the local community through both their corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, local sponsorship, commitment to county schools and ongoing sustainability projects.
The Thame town awards launched in 2009, aims to recognise, thank and celebrate individuals, neighbours and support groups who go out of their way for others in their community. It also celebrates those special companies who are working hard to make our community a safer, more vibrant, and happier place to live. Since the Town Awards was launched, the Council has awarded 73 local individuals, organisations, and businesses with a Town Award to acknowledge their contribution to the town.
John Netherwood, John Griffiths, and Cristiana Padilla collected the award at the Barns Centre in Thame for a special evening of celebration, along with those who nominated the winners of the seven categories. A big thank you to all employees for your on-going support and contribution to the various projects we have undertaken, which collectively have contributed to this award!
